Many suicide loss survivors report meaningful spiritual experiences including signs they interpret as communication from loved ones, dreams that feel like visits, significant coincidences, sensing presence, finding symbolic objects like feathers or coins in meaningful moments, or other phenomena that provide comfort and connection. Whether these experiences represent actual contact, psychological processing, coincidence, or spiritual connection remains personally interpreted. What matters is whether they bring comfort, hope, or meaning. Sharing these experiences with others who won’t dismiss or pathologize them validates their significance regardless of their ultimate source or explanation.
